Fall Semester 2013 Registration Begins

The classes for the fall semester are open for registration now! Online registration is required for all Chinese classes.

1) The registration deadline is Sunday, August 18, 2013.
2) Please fill out the accurate registration information, which will be printed onto certificates at year end and kept in the official student records and transcripts.
3) Late registration may cause a student to have no textbooks on time, and subject to $20 processing fee. (Tuition Policy)

Daylight Saving Time Begins on March 10, 2013

In United States, daylight saving time begins on the second Sunday in March. Clocks are set ahead one hour at 2:00 a.m. local standard time, which becomes 3:00 a.m. local daylight time.

For this year (2013), daylight saving time begins on March 10.

Spring Semester of 2013 Begins on January 13

We are very excited to announce the Spring semester of 2013 begins at 10:30AM of January 13!

Here are a few things we would like to share with you:

1)  Temporary School Office (Berkey Hall 110)
– Office hour: Between 10:40 – 11:40 of January 13 and 20

2)  Safety of all our students
– please don’t leave your child unattended anywhere in the building
– please drop off and pick up your kids on time
– please ask the kids not to play with the elevators to avoid getting stuck if the elevators broke
– we have no volunteers to help us watch the kids, so please take care of your children by yourselves

3)  Student behaviors
Please discuss with your children about proper behaviors at school, including, but not limited,

– to keep the noise down during recess.
– don’t throw garbage onto the floors of the classrooms and hallways
– no running in the corridor

Spring Semester 2013 Starts on January 13, 2013

Dear Parents, Teachers and Friends,

Welcome to MSU Chinese School! Spring 2013 semester will start on this Sunday,  Jan. 13th, 2013. Classes will be held from 10:30am-12:20pm on Sundays between Jan 13, 2013 and May 5, 2013 (closed on Feb 10th for Chinese New Year).

Class Room Assignment:  Note that some classes have moved to different rooms from the last semester.

 

First Day of School – January 13th, 2013

Parents – after dropping your kids at their classrooms, please come to the temporary office BH-110 to pay for registration & book fees.

  • Tuition is $155 per registration per student. A $20 processing fee will be collected if you registered after the deadline Dec 23rd, 2012. If you need to purchase new books or dictionaries, please add appropriate book or dictionary fees.
